Chromotherapy Targeted Area (LED Light Therapy)

The skin cells absorb the information from the coloured light. There are seven colours and the cells react according to the colour of the light, the wavelength and frequency. sometimes referred to as tooth piercings a 90's throwback fashion accessory where a gem or shape is temporarily bonded to the tooth using dental bonding glue , may stay bonded for up to a year and can be removed by a dentist at any time this is good option for a unique fashion statement. all our gems are high quality Swarovski crystals and will be replaced free of charge if they fall off within a 1 week time period, please note gems will only be replaced once.

All work areas are kept very clean, with all surfaces wiped down after use and equipment stored properly this should be common practice in any practice, spa , centre or clinic but it is also out of respect for clients and their personal safety.

Aftercare

Please follow all aftercare advice given by your chromotherapist at all times, as a general rule Drink plenty of water before and after a treatment. This ensure that your body is hydrated and therapy can be more effective. Post treatment, this will help the lynph and circulatory system to remove waste products from your body and keep you hydrated. Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 12 hours. Avoid sunbeds and artificial UV lights as this may trigger UV sensitivity Avoid exercise for 12 hours. An aftercare sheet will also be provided for any treatment you may have

Are there any side effects to LED light therapy ?

"Light therapy that involves only visible light is generally considered safe. Still, the use of phototherapy for people with drug resistant non-seasonal depression can result in a hyperactive state called mania. In these rare cases light therapy must be reduced or stopped and the condition adequately treated.

Light therapy can be defined as exposure to daylight or specific wavelengths of light for a prescribed amount of time in order to treat seasonal affective disorder, acne and a myriad of other conditions. Even though this type of treatment is generally very safe, negative effects may occur.

As a consequence of light therapy, patients can complain of irritability, headaches, eye strain, sleep disturbances and insomnia. Mild visual side effects are not unusual, but remit promptly. Therefore determining the appropriate dose and timing of light is essential in order to diminish the occurrence of such side effects."

Will I have to fill out any forms when I visit Aurora Eos. ?

The simple answer is yes this may take the form of a client intake form, signing for GDPR laws, Questionnaires Treatment Reports/ notes and progress reports. By law I need to obtain and record information about you for the purposes of your wellbeing and providing the services you wish to experience. All information is stored and managed under the GDPR ACT. so all information on you is confidential . Records and systems are updated to the best of My knowledge and you have the right to be 'Forgotten' at anytime where your file and information is permanently destroyed , you also have the right to request to read any information held about yourself please apply in writing and sign so start any of these process.

What illnesses can chromotherapy help treat ?

Many illness , aches and even diseases can be helped with long term use of Chromotherapy averaging between 5 -15 sessions depending on severity of complaint, here are to name a few listed alphabetically :

Please do not be worried, I understand seeking help or having an appointment with someone new for the first time can be a bit daunting and I have had training to put my clients at ease.

How can I pay for the services offered ?

you will be asked for payment after your appointment , I accept cash, card ,contactless and In some cases PayPal. I regret that CHEQUE OR BANK TRANSFER IS NOT ACCEPTED.

What should I wear for my session ?

please wear normal everyday clothes that you feel good in, The chromotherapy lights and glasses work through clothing such as t -shirts, dresses and light denim. The main thing is that you are relaxed and comfortable during a session.

What if my issues are too complex for the services offered ?

If you have complex issues that are deemed too difficult for me to treat successfully, relevant services will be contacted with clients permission ! I never pass on any details without your consent to do so !

Can I speak to my wellbeing therapist before my Appointment ?

I maybe busy during opening hours, however if you would like to speak to me reguarding any questions or appointment information. please do ring the line and I will be happy to help.

I have a Complaint how do I Act on this ?

I take complaints very seriously, should anything happen not to your liking please follow my Complaint policy, The complaint you have should be reported in writing either by email through contact channels or in person , If an in person complaint Is made please fill out a complaint form I will provide and hand it in at the front desk.
